About Robyn

Robyn’s art obsession started when she was a kid, with coloring books and crayons stored under her bed. In the '80s, she discovered "Paper by the Pound" at her local stationery shop in suburban Detroit, sparking her love for color and paper. As a teen, she found herself silently critiquing store logos and awnings, imagining how she’d improve them; a career in design was inevitable. Now with over 30 years in the design business—from art directing at Condé Nast to launching her own stationery line—she’s as passionate as ever about creating unique brand identities.

Upon earning a BFA in Graphic Design from the Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan, Robyn immediately moved to New York City and began her career as a children’s educational book designer and cover illustrator. She then worked at The Condé Nast Group designing promotions and event materials across all Condé Nast titles. At New York Magazine, Robyn designed invitations, advertorials, and merchandising for magazine events. Robyn later became Art Director at SHAPE magazine and then returned to Condé Nast as Promotion Art Director for SELF magazine.

In 2002, Robyn launched her stationery line which included personalized birth announcements, invitations, holiday cards and moving announcements. Her designs were sold in over 150 stores nationwide. In addition to her stationery line, the following year, Robyn became a featured designer for Tiny Prints, and later for Shutterfly.

Robyn’s current focus is designing logos and branding for businesses, and milestone events. She is deeply committed to social causes and has created designs for those she believes in. Robyn loves creating with hand-drawn type; she finds inspiration everywhere and is convinced that personalized stationery makes people happy.
