about robyn

Robyn’s obsession with color and paper began when she discovered Paper By the Pound at her local stationery store in the 80s. Enamored with coloring and drawing since she was a child, Graphic Design was the obvious career choice.

Robyn’s career started in New York City as a children’s book designer. She then worked as promotion designer in The Condé Nast Group and New York Magazine and as art director at SELF Magazine. Robyn began illustrating birth announcements as gifts for friends and family, and, in 2002, officially launched Robyn Miller Design. She turned her love for stationery and design into a full-time endeavor, designing logos, branding materials, and creating stationery. Passionate about social issues, Robyn has created posters and shirts for causes in which she believes. She spends a ridiculous amount of time thinking about fonts and colors and is convinced that stationery makes people happy. She enjoys being a featured designer on Tiny Prints and Shutterfly, loves creating with hand-drawn type, and finds inspiration everywhere. Originally from Michigan, Robyn is a graduate of the University of Michigan, STAMPS School of Art & Design. Robyn lives in Westchester, NY, with her husband, three sons, and goldendoodle.
